I am Sam, a non-Indian 25
year-old from the US. I was too young to remember my first Bollywood
movie (I vaguely recall watching “Sholay”), but my first
memory is of the movie “Dil” with Aamir Khan which I
saw at the age of 13 and I have been in love with the man ever
since (it is entirely irrelevant that he was a teenager when I
was born!). I went on an unintentional hiatus from Bollywood until
I haphazardly came across a copy of “Dil” about two
months ago which re-ignited the Bollywood flame in me!! I have
since watched 23 movies and own 10 and trying to pace myself.
Some of my friends call it a phase, others call it a sickness
and suggest therapy or Bollywood Anonymous, but I am trying to
enjoy it while it lasts.
